Ongoing Small Groups
Being part of a bible study or a small group is a way to make a larger church, much more like a family. At Liberty, Small Groups happen at various times throughout the week, in various locations, with various people – and there’s always one empty seat, just for you.
Small Group Ministry
Liberty is initiating the formation of "small groups" for Study, Fellowship, and/or Service. A number of people have been trained as small group facilitators, and each of them will be facilitating a group of 6 to 12 people that will meet periodically throughout the school year. Interested in being part of one? Or learning more? Check out the current Small Group offerings below or contact Pastor Don or the Church Office.
Walking Alongside Cancer
Our Group is an open discussion of our journey through cancer diagnosis, treatment, support, suggestions and surviving. Wednesdays at 10:00 am in the 12-Step room. Come join us. Contact the Church Office.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Several ladies within our church family are making "Prayer Shawls" to be distributed within the church community. The making of a prayer shawl is a spiritual practice which embodies our thoughts and prayers for the receiver. They are to be used as a "Comfort" when someone is feeling in need of a friend/prayer. The shawls are passed on hand-to-hand and heart-to-heart. These shawls are meant to be given away unconditionally and NOT to be sold. It is a gift freely given with no strings attached. If you know of someone who could be comforted when wrapping in a shawl, please contact the Church Office.
A shawl is waiting to comfort. The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets regularly.
